Gorgonzola cheese toast or paninis with red fruit chutney

INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE

  • 4/6 pieces of toasted walnut bread
  • 125g gorgonzola
  • Red fruit chutney: 250g red fruit of your choice, 80g white sugar, 150g brown sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, a pinch of grated ginger, 2 cloves, 80g chopped onion, 250ml water, 100ml white modena vinegar, 25g celery, peeled and chopped, salt and pepper to taste.

PREPARATION

To prepare the chutney simply put all the ingredients into a saucepan and place on a low heat and cover until it has the consistency of jam.

On the toasted bread, spread the gorgonzola cheese and then pour the chutney over it.
